Horse Agility Groundwork Clinic – Morning
This clinic will include a full Horse Agility course of 10 obstacles. We will focus on the foundational skill of Horse Agility looking at Leading Position, Speed within Gait and Rope Length. The clinic will be taught at a variety of levels including starter and advanced and is a mixed ability clinic. We will have an intro to obstacles, training and play session working at your own pace and level under my guidance and finish with a fun Horse Agility Competition where I can guide you around the course. For those who are members of the club points will go towards the Official Heartfelthorse Live League with The Horse Agility Club.
Equ-Agility Ridden Clinic – Afternoon
In this Clinic we will be looking at the ridden version of Horse Agility known as Equ-Agility and focusing on the riding side. Those who haven’t taken part in the morning session will start in hand and progress to riding in the session. For Equ-Agility we do 5 obstacles in hand and then mount and do 5 obstacles ridden. During the session you will be able to have a go at a variety of obstacles while riding, discussing how we approach them while on board our horses and how to progress. This could include trotting for those who wish. We will finish the clinic with a Fun Equ-Agility Competition where you can test out what you have learnt. You can also do this session in hand, there is no pressure to ride for the whole or any of the session, you can pop on and off your horse as you wish.
