More Information
Being the daughter of a riding school proprietor, I have always ridden and been around horses. My equestrian career took off when I was selected for the British Equestrian Vaulting team in 1988. After retiring from vaulting I competed successfully in western riding. Through this I was introduced to Natural Horsemanship while visiting the USA. I have always enjoyed training horses and building the relationship between horse and rider. Horse Agility compliments my interest in foundation training for Western, English and Working Equitation. I feel ground work is an important part of a horse’s education and Horse Agility offers a fun and structured way for both horses and handlers to make progress.
I teach at Valley Farm where I am able to offer individual lessons, play days, training days and progressive courses. Students are welcome to bring their own horses or they may use ours.
I am a BHS Accredited Professional Coach and in addition to Agility I offer lessons in Western, Vaulting, Working Equitation, Flatwork, and general foundation schooling for riders of all ages and abilities.
